Coffee Republic Plc
It’s been three years now since Coffee Republic, one of the UK’s original international style espresso bar chains opened its doors to franchisees for the first that time. In that short space of time we have seen the number of outlets skyrocket from 40 to in excess of 200 by Christmas 2008.
After years of coffee perfection, the feedback that we have received is that ‘Coffee Republic is the one place you can go to get a great coffee and fresh food made on site in the one place’ and it is on the back of this strength that we have seen such consistent growth.

A New Beginning
It is within a similar timeframe that our stores have been given a makeover and since moving to our current black and red image, we have seen our brand take on a life of its own. Each one of our locations caters specifically to their local demographics in terms of furniture and atmosphere to ensure that our customers enjoy their experience.Something for everyone
At Coffee Republic we do not believe in excluding anyone which is why we have expanded our range to offer something for everyone. While our focus has not strayed from our coffee quality – we are still using the same secret blend that we introduced in our first bar way back in 1995 – we have listened to our guests and introduced Shake Republic, Chocolate Republic, Tea Republic, as well as a large selection of smoothies & iced drinks. And that is only the drinks menu!
Moving on to our food offering you will come across a wonderfully fresh range of baguettes, panini’s, sandwiches, bagels, muffins, pastries, salads, soups, jacket potatoes and pizzas to name a few. The difference with a Coffee Republic experience is that you can be sure that your food is prepared fresh on site by a member of our team!
Profit Route One ~ A New Coffee Republic Deli
Most franchisees who join us will want to own a brand new unit in a location of their choosing and if you already have a location in mind we will help you to evaluate your chosen site to ensure it meets all our success criteria.Alternatively we can help you seek a site within your chosen area. We will then go on to help you to arrange the supply of equipment and the shop fitting operation and will put you in touch with one of our Project Managers who will oversee the entire development process to allow you to create your own Coffee Republic.
Profit Route Two ~ Build your own Republic
Opportunities also exist for you to become an International Master Franchisee (IMF) in countries around the world. This is an exciting opportunity which allows for the development of an entire country or territory, enhancing the Coffee Republic brand as a global presence and introducing it to new consumer markets.PLEASE NOTE - we cannot offer single bars outside the UK at this time.

Who Is Ideal for Us?
Is this You?The franchise system we have developed allows anyone with the right positive attitude to join us as a franchisee, no matter his or her background. There are, however, four things that Coffee Republic people have in common:
- A desire to earn a good income
- An interest in food and drink
- A love of working with people
- A deep desire to be the boss
We do, however, take great care in franchisee selection. You will not only have to be able to make the financial investment; you will have to want to be the owner of a service orientated food business. You will be expected to train in every aspect of running the franchise business even if you wish to appoint a key manager to run the business
If you can honestly say you want the level of involvement we describe above, then Coffee Republic Franchising is an opportunity not to be missed.
