Cost Centre Services audits energy billing, identifies overcharging and negotiates refunds with suppliers. Other valuable activities include managing energy procurement and providing an on-going bill checking/validation service to provide a total "one stop" solution to clients.
About Us
We are a small consultancy offering an innovative analysis service to all types of SMEs.With a background in Cost Reduction Analysis we soon discovered that SMEs needed on-going assistance and support with their energy procurement and management. For example, the level of error billing by energy suppliers is significant and the situation is made worse because clients are unable to verify charges, understand their bills or know where to begin in challenging them.
Our Services
Our service has recovered or saved clients hundreds of thousands of pounds and is a simple but very valuable asset to any business.Cost Centre Services has launched an interactive bespoke software which is available on-line to clients. Called the Client Management Centre it facilitates all aspects of energy procurement and management on behalf of SMEs.
We seek to expand and develop our client base by recruiting Senior Associates able to train as Cost Reduction Analysts specialising in the energy category. With the recent rise in energy prices, SMEs face increasing burdens but Cost Centre Services is ideally placed to assist and make a real difference for our clients. We provide pro-active and sustained support - something SMEs really need (and who have often been ignored).
Cost Centre Services is ISO 9001:2000 and Data Protected registered.
Training and Support
We will provide at your premises, an intensive 5 day training course covering the principles of Cost Reduction, an overview of energy services, the use of the on-line Client Management Centre facilities, and your role and responsibilities.Further training will be freely provided on an "as required" basis (but you may have to travel to a venue).
Our concept is quite unique since we combine a series of skills under one roof (whereas normally these skill sets are dealt with by separate companies). Furthermore we can assist with most overhead categories incurred by SMEs.
Financial Information
The Senior Associate License Agreement fee is £12,500 + VAT valid for 5 years, and renewable for further 5 year periods thereafter.The current renewal fee is £300 + VAT (to cover legal costs).
Senior Associates will need normal home office equipment consisting of a suitably specified computer running Excel, Word pdf and anti virus programmes together with a high quality LED or Laser colour printer, telephone, fax and photocopier. A small filing cabinet is also required.
Business Insurance (£150 estimated) and Professional Indemnity Insurance (£200 estimated depending on background) is mandatory.
Are you for us?
Your background is important to us but we are very flexible what it might be. Basically, you need to be articulate, able to work on your own initiative with a "follow your nose" attitude to issues and problem solving. Additionally, you should possess good communication skills combined with a methodical and analytical approach to work tasks and be comfortable with dealing with businesses at a variety of levels.Set up expenses are minimal and you are able to trade from home under the Cost Centre Services name and logo.
