As an Instructor running your own Kumon study centre you will take on a hugely rewarding, varied and demanding role while having the ability to organise your working life to fit around your other commitments. This is a part-time commitment where you will be supported in developing the skills needed to run your own business.
Over the last 50 years, Kumon has developed a supplementary education programme that complements the national curriculum and allows students to develop their ability at an individualised rate. As a Kumon Instructor you will provide children with a solid foundation for academic success. You will inspire them to find the strength of character to overcome obstacles. You will also encourage them to want to study hard because you make learning rewarding.
Kumon Instructors:
• are child focussed and enjoy motivating children
• are proficient in maths and English
• communicate effectively
• are highly organised
• are able to perform a multitude of business and educational tasks
• are financially secure and able to invest in their business
All Kumon study centres are run as a franchise and the start-up costs are low (£400 for a Kumon licence) and Kumon offers:
• An excellent training and start-up package
• Marketing Support with a substantial subsidy on marketing initiatives
• On-going professional development and support
