You certainly don't need previous insurance or buildings experience because we'll train you to do the job and there is no selling involved. The most important attributes are that you can get on with people from all backgrounds and that you accept that self-employment is as much about hard work as it is about what you know!

Typically, your working day will involve a mixture of being out seeing clients and working behind your own desk either from home or your own local office. You'll liase with local tradespeople, insurance companies and, of course, the home or business owner that has had the original incident.

Individuals interested in a Spettro franchise should have an affinity towards assisting people to overcome their immediate difficulties and should enjoy project management. Spettro’s detailed training program gives new franchisees the skills they need to manage their business with confidence.

At the heart of our business is a comprehensive initial training programme which is both class room and "out and about" on real life jobs.

After the first two weeks you'll be able to handle most of what comes your way. There then follows an on-going support and education process so that you can build on your new skill set as your business experience grows. We will provide you with all the skills you'll need to feel confident and be successful.

On an ongoing basis the company supports each franchisee with a technical helpline and Spettro also runs a call centre to deal with all incoming calls on each franchisee’s behalf.
