An Introduction

Swisher is celebrating a decade of franchising excellence as 2007 marks the company’s 10 Year Anniversary. Swisher is now recognised as the leading brand within the washroom, cleaning and franchising sectors, culminating in numerous awards and accolades.

Support and Training

Swisher prides itself on offering the highest level of support to all of our franchisees.

Excellent initial training is provided (both in the classroom and on territory) as well as a comprehensive and extensive ongoing training programme (designed both for franchisees and their senior staff). These courses include additional Sales, Service, Management, P&Ls, Finance and Accounts, Managing your Staff, IT & Internet, Quality Control and Customer Care.

To enable franchisees and their staff to focus on growing the business, Swisher Corporate centrally produces all invoices and statements, assists with debt collection and acts as a Call Centre for both franchisees and customers.
This support starts even before joining the network, as Swisher Corporate assists prospective franchisees with their business plan, introduces them to the funding sources (with whom Swisher has an excellent relationship) and provides ongoing guidance and support to make sure that they are making the right decision

When joining Swisher, franchisees receive assistance with the recruitment, selection and training of their management staff. Swisher also works closely with both franchisees and their staff to ensure that they are achieving optimum performance.

With a Swisher franchise, you are safe in the knowledge that you are in business for yourself, but definitely not by yourself!

Territories

Swisher award large, exclusive territories with a minimum population of ½ million. Defined by postcode areas, each territory has between 10,000 – 20,000 potential customers. It is impossible to reach customer saturation within the territory.

Swisher carefully select franchisees and currently have opportunities available in most areas of the UK.

Costs

The fee for a Swisher franchise is £30,000 + VAT. Approximately, a further £25,000 - £50,000 working capital is required to set up the business (depending on structure, funding requirements and other standard business considerations). Accordingly, the total investment required for a Swisher franchise will be between £55,000 - £75,000.

The banks, subject to status, will lend up to 70% of the total amount required. However, all you need to join Swisher is your own personal available liquid capital of £25,000. Swisher also offers support through the DTI Small Firms Loan Guarantee scheme.
