Who are we?
0 - 7 years. Established in 2004, we are well known and
respected for our happy and healthy contribution to
children's development and our respect for the planet.
We have created a multi-sensory Yoga inspired
music and movement programme for children and babies that is now used
around the country by Tatty Bumpkin trained teachers,
at parties, in schools and within government Surestart
programmes.
In addition we have one of the largest ranges of funky organic clothing,
Fair trade toys and accessories for children up to 7 years on the market.
Our clothes reflect our belief that “movement is the basis for learning”
as they designed to be soft, comfy easy to wear and
kind to the planet and compliment our classes.
What is the Franchise?
The Tatty Bumpkin Franchise has been carefully considered and developed tooffer an ethical, stimulating and fun business opportunity based on a tried and
tested model.
We launched the Franchise in March 2008 and have a good network of franchisees who come from a variety of backgrounds and several have very young children. Franchises are sold for specific areas, each Territory is made-up using postcodes, of approx 20,000 children between the ages 0-6 years.
Our ethical franchise is unique in the fact that it offers 4 income streams:
1. Baby Bumpkin classes for babies
2. Baby Bumpkin clothing for clothing parties
3. Tatty Bumpkin classes for toddlers
4. Our range of Carbon Neutral, Organic and fair trade clothing to be sold in classes and at parties
These multiple revenue streams give our franchisees multiple ways to cross sell and market the product and maximise income.
The franchise is a business opportunity and to make the most of it you will need to spend a minimum of 20-30 hours a week - although some of this can be in the evening. Obviously the more hours you put in the quicker you will be able to reach your goals and the more your business will thrive.
