The Happy Plaice Franchise requires an up front franchise fee of £12,500 (plus VAT). You will need a deposit for your van of £6,500 and some working capital for consumables etc to get you underway.

What We Provide For You
Franchisees are provided a fully equipped leased van designed using the years of experience of our team to provide a modern, reliable working environment. We meet all health and safety and local authority requirements. Supplies are provided through our researched approved suppliers at prices only available through our economies of scale. You do not pay a % of your takings to us. Just a fixed weekly franchise fee of £125 which does not increase with your growing takings.Our training programme together with our comprehensive operations manual provides you with the know-how to prepare and cook the highest quality fish and chips. Everything is freshly cooked using the highest quality raw materials and using the highest quality brand new equipment. These high standards are rigorously maintained by ongoing training and support. What You Can Earn
The rewards for hardworking franchisees are considerable. It is possible to expand from a single van to the control of a multi location business. Earnings are within the direct control of the individual. A Happy Plaice franchisee operating in their first year can achieve annual sales of over £100,000 with a gross profit margin of 65%. Second year earnings can exceed this. However, franchisees are self employed and success cannot be guaranteed - the input of the individual is always the deciding factor.
Unlike many other franchises we do not ask for a percentage of your takings. If you increase your takings due to operating additional functions, evenings or lunchtimes we feel you should benefit 100% from these efforts. We simply charge a fixed weekly fee of £125 plus VAT to cover the on going support and benefits.
